Eastpointe's best, ready to welcome you

Rooted in Culture. Crafted with Passion.
La Patagonia was created to share the heart of Argentine culture through food. Using family recipes passed down for generations, we bring traditional Argentine empanadas and desserts to Eastpointe and the greater Metro Detroit community.
Our recipes honor tradition while welcoming new tastes, always prepared with fresh ingredients and pride in craft. Each empanada, sauce, and dessert reflects our belief that food connects people, sparks curiosity, and makes every meal feel like home.

Meet the Founders
Diego Adrian Tula
Diego Adrian Tula was born in Patagonia, Argentina, where empanadas are part of everyday life. In 2002, he moved to Madrid and gained experience working in some of the city’s top restaurants. While there, he began recreating Argentine dishes for himself and friends, a way to stay connected to the Flavors of home. It was also in Madrid that he met his wife, an American teacher who shared his passion for Spanish and Argentinian culture. Their journey eventually brought them to the U.S., where Diego’s empanadas quickly became a favourite among friends who encouraged him to share them more widely.
From that encouragement, La Patagonia was born – bringing the Flavors of Diego’s homeland to their new home.
Victor Navarrete
Victor Navarrete was born in Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of 11. About 12 years ago, he began his career in the restaurant industry, where he discovered a deep passion for the culinary arts. Starting as a cook, Victor worked tirelessly to master his craft and steadily advanced into management, where he sharpened his leadership and customer service skills.
Today, he brings his journey full circle, combining years of dedication, experience, and creativity with the opportunity to showcase his talents in a restaurant of his own.
